  3. From Second Chances to Equitable Opportunities: OAR’s Path Forward
  • Join us at The Barns at Wolf Trap on May 5th from 7pm-10pm
Last year we celebrated our organization's over 50 years of service by revisiting our history and accomplishments. This year, we are focused on our future! Enjoy appetizers, an open bar, music from Rowdy Ace Band, and a raffle contest while you learn more about OAR's future as a restorative justice non-profit organization in Northern Virginia.
What do we mean when we say we are moving "From Second Chances to Equitable Opportunities?"
For the justice-impacted individuals we serve, we know that a second chance offers the possibility of successful reentry. At OAR, we want to give our clients more. We want to give them second chances that offer the probability of successful reentry. That's why we believe in creating equitable opportunities. Equitable opportunities are the ones that, in addition to being given a second chance, provide our clients with the resources they need to be successful while overcoming the barriers unique to reentry. Join us May 5th to learn more!
